Graduated Outside of the United States Requirements
Please do not submit a Web-Centric ACP application prior to meeting all requirements listed below. We will not be able to review your application if requirements are not met.
Foreign Credential Review
- Official course by course evaluated transcript including grades.
- Evaluation must be done by approved TEA foreign credential evaluation company.
- Only official evaluations mailed directly from the foreign credential service will be accepted. Unofficial or emailed copies will not be accepted.

Provide proof of English language proficiency:
The TOEFL IBT Test is a state requirement unless you meet one of the two criteria listed under TOEFL Exemptions.

- You must score in the High-Intermediate level scores for each section:
Reading 18-23, Listening 17-21, Speaking 20-24, Writing 17-23
TX PACT Scores:
Web-Centric ACP requires passing TX PACT scores. Link to review certification areas offered: Teacher Certifications May be Obtained in the Following Areas:
Pearson administers the test. Link to Pearson: PACT testing Instructions
- Registration questions need to be directed to Pearson.
- Web-Centric ACP cannot help you register for the test.
- Preparation manuals can be found on the Pearson website.
Note:
- Essential Academic Skills (TX PACT 700) covers Core Subjects EC-6 and SPED.
- All other TX PACT exams correspond to their subject area and grade level.
- Supplemental areas will not qualify for admission review.
TOEFL Exemptions:
- If the school where you received your bachelor’s degree from is listed on the TEA website Countries in which English is an Official Language, you do not need to take the TOEFL test.
- If you have completed an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited institution of higher education in the United States or one of its territories, you do not need the TOEFL.
Verification of Work Authorization Status
Provide a verification of lawful permanent residence or a copy of current Green Card if you are not a US citizen. This paperwork must be provided with your application.
